Come and celebrate the Matariki with the ReCreators at Hub West.Proudly funded by Henderson Massey Local Board!
In this workshop, you will learn to make and leave with a seed tray made from pallets and an upcycled Bokashi Bin.
You will learn how to use a drill and jigsaw so that you can DIY at home with power tools.
Buffie, our gardening expert will discuss how you can use your seed tray to start your own vege seedlings and will discuss ways you can become climate resilient through gardening
The ReCreators will also teach you how to make your own zing. Zing is the material that helps promote fermentation in your bokashi bin, which helps transform your kitchen waste into good nutrition for your garden!
When: Thursday 23 June 10am - 1pm
Where: Hub West, 29 Corban Avenue, Henderson. Auckland.
All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors.
Please note that you need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
