About this Event
Collette Rixon will be guiding you through a hands on, creative workshop on how to make your very own kokedama.
Collette has been a florist for 50 + years previously owner of Collette’s Floral Service for 18 years and currently working for a local florist and a floristry teacher for almost 30 years for TAFE NSW.
Your kokedama workshop will allow you to create something suitable to hang under a tree or somewhere in your garden or use indoors as a feature. The kokedama is made from scratch in natural sustainable plant materials such as sphagnum moss, soil and string/jute.
All materials will be supplied, and you will be able to take your completed kokedama home to adorn a special place inside or out. Suitable plants used will be mainly succulents.
Please bring an old towel to soak your moss.
This class is suitable for beginners over the age of 13 years.
With only 10 in a group, these intimate classes are a lot of fun so bring your friends or family!
