About this Event
DIY Paper Masks presented by Social Crafts MTL & Dr Lemco’s Creative Club
Ever wanted to hide behind a mask, but like... artistically?
Join us for a cozy, hands-on craft night where you’ll design and build your own paper mask from scratch. This workshop is all about playful creativity, low pressure, and meeting people while making something fun, strange, or who knows, surprisingly beautiful.
You’ll be guided through the basics of mask-making using paper, paint, and mixed materials, butwhere you take it is totally up to you. Make it spooky, silly, abstract, emotional, or completely unhinged. There are no rules here, just materials and vibes.
This is a social-first workshop: chat, create, wander, help each other, and leave with a wearable piece of art (or something you’ll scare your roommates with).
No skill required.
All supplies provided.
What to expect:
- A guided DIY paper mask workshop
- Plenty of creative freedom
- A relaxed, social atmosphere
- Time to experiment and play
Space is limited to 16 spots to keep the experience intimate and intentional, so reserve yours early! Unless otherwise specified, our workshops are for ages 18+.
Disclaimer: We often like to capture moments from our events to share the magic online. We aim to keep cameras minimal, and if you’d prefer not to be photographed or filmed, no stress at all; just let us know upon arrival and we’ll make sure you’re not included.
