Make your own Cornish Clay Pot at Great Estate

Join us for a lovely laidback hour and a half of creating in the Cornwall Shop Small Marquee at Great Estate Festival.

The Cornwall Shop Small Marquee at Great Estate Festival(the destination to shop unique and beautiful things from local creators and curators at the Festival) is hosting a series of wonderful creative sessions as part of the Festival programme.

Inspiring local potter and artist Amelia K Fulton is hosting this gorgeous workshop where you can create and decorate your very own pot using Cornish clay. Amelia will guide you through the process of creating a pinch pot vessel of your own design. You can surface emboss from your own inspiration from a repeated pattern, abstract graphic or design inspired by the textures of nature. Then go bold with colour or opt for a neutral finish to create your own individual masterpiece.

All the materials are provided but if you would like your finished piece fired for you, to treasure for years to come, an additional charge of £14 is payable on the day. Your piece will be available for collection at various events in Cornwall, from Amelia's studio or by post (for a further at cost charge).

Please note - you may get a little messy but clay washes out of clothes!
