Make Your Mark: T-Shirt Printing WorkshopEver wanted to design a t-shirt that no one else in the world owns?
In this fun and creative printmaking workshop, you’ll learn how to carve small lino stamps and use them to print your own custom t-shirt. Think bold little motifs, repeating patterns, playful symbols and expressive marks — all hand printed by you.
Lino printing is one of the most satisfying art forms: carve, ink, press… and watch your design come to life on fabric.
During this relaxed and inspiring session at Aphrodite Art School, you’ll learn the fundamentals of lino printing and textile printing, including how to design for small stamps, carve lino safely, ink your block, and build beautiful, printed compositions on fabric.
The best part? You’ll leave wearing (or proudly carrying) a completely unique artist-designed t-shirt.
One of the most fun parts of this workshop is the chance to share and swap stamps with other participants.
After carving your own lino design, you’ll have the option to exchange prints and experiment with each other’s stamps — allowing you to build layered patterns, playful combinations and unexpected designs on your t-shirt.
It’s a lovely, collaborative moment that turns the workshop into a mini print studio, where everyone’s ideas can mix and evolve.
You might come in with one design… and leave with a t-shirt covered in a collection of creative marks from the whole group.
In this workshop you will:
Learn the basics of lino carving and printmaking
Design and carve your own small stamp
Experiment with pattern and repeated prints
Hand print your design onto a t-shirt
Create a wearable artwork you’ll actually want to wear
No experience is necessary — beginners are absolutely welcome.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves creative experiences, handmade design, slow fashion, and printmaking.
All tools, inks and carving materials are provided.
Just bring a plain cotton t-shirt to print on (or purchase one for $20 at the studio).
Spaces are limited to keep the workshop relaxed and hands-on.
Come along, get a little inky, and make your mark.
