Accelerated Learning (AL) is a future-oriented program that transforms passive learners into active doers, who create exceptional value for themselves and their fellow learners. The AL approach activates full learning potential by allowing participants to discover and create their own learning with a rich variety of methods that appeals to the whole person.

The main principle of AL is that learners learn best when they are involved in the creation of their learning. AL fully activates participants’ learning potential. It goes beyond standard concepts of instructor-led interaction to give learners more autonomy to drive their own learning in a social context.

This taster session is focused on helping L&D professionals understand what it takes to transform their participants into fully engaged learners. You’ll discover how to convert passive learners into active doers who take charge of their own learning and create retention of this learning for themselves and others.

You will discover how applying the 8 guiding principles of Accelerated Learning to your lesson design and classroom delivery will transform your classroom (virtual or in-person) from trainer-centric to learner-centric. After attending this dynamic session, you will understand the 8 AL Principles, the impact each principle has on learning effectiveness and take-away some ideas for applying these principles to your classroom!
