The Sam Apron is the perfect everyday apron for cooking and crafts from indie pattern company Helen's Closet. What you'll need to bring
2m cotton fabric to make your project from. Medium to heavy-weight woven fabrics with no stretch. Denim, linen, cotton twill, quilting cotton and canvas are all suitable options. Waxed Canvas can also be used for a water-resistant apron.
Matching thread. We recommend using a good quality brand such as Gütermann or Coats
A sewing machine (if you don't have one you can choose to hire one from us for £10)
A sewing kit including sewing scissors or rotary cutter, regular paper scissors, a quick unpick, pins, tailors chalk or fabric pen, tape measure or ruler, spare needles for your sewing machine. Kit is available to borrow or purchase on our website if you don't have your own.

Classes run for 3 weeks, on Thursday 21st and 28th November and 5th December, from 6.30 - 8.45pm at Saint Wilfrids Community Centre, Coltsgate Hill, Ripon HG4 2AB.
