About this Event

Paranormal Activity

Ripon WOrkhouse dates back to the 1700's and was home to the destitute and the homeless. The poor people that entered the workhouse gates suffered horrific cruelty and harsh treatment including hard labour, solitary confinement and solitude with most never leaving alive!

The paranormal activity experienced here can only be described as terrifying and is encased with an oppressive atmosphere that seeps from the walls. Unhappy spirits communicate their horrific treatment in many ways with pained screamed being heard, creepy whispers and an oppressive feeling of being watched. Apparitions have been see and childrens voices are heard. This location is NOT for the faint hearted but is one NOT to be missed!

Parking

There is onsite parking that is off the road and ample size for our group.

How big are the groups?

We specialise in small groups and only take groups to this location up to 8/9 guests per investigator and only two groups at any one time. This means that there is NO contamination from others on the night and so many spaces to investigate that we cannot physically get round them all in one event.

What happens on the events?

We believe that spirit work on energy to communicate with us so we encourage people to come to our events with an open mind and an eagerness to join in. Throughout the night, our investigators will lead you through a night of investigation using a range of devices (both traditional and modern). We will run a range of experiments for you to engage in throughout the night that are designed to evidence spirit communication. The event is very interactive and we encourage participation in the activities but no one will be asked to do anything that they feel uncomfortable with.
