In this workshop you will learn to create your very own set of stacked sterling silver and copper bangles
Working with sterling silver and copper wire we will use traditional jewellery making techniques to create a beautiful set of stacked bangles for you to wear and take home.
We will learn to size your bangle, add texture the surface, learn to solder and then finish and polish your bangles so that you can wear them home. The course cost includes materials for three stacking bangles, two in sterling silver and one in copper.
The workshop will take place at The Studio at Millbank, Millbank House, Cumnock and a maximum of 8 attendees will take part in the workshop.
Suitable for those aged 16 to 94+, no previous jewellery experience is necessary, all materials to make the stack of rings are supplied and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use in the workshop.
Loose clothing should be avoided, closed toe shoes should be worn, if you have long hair it should be worn tied back and please remember to bring glasses if needed as we will be working with small objects.
