About this Event
On April 7, Lakewood voters will decide whether to uphold recent changes to the city’s zoning code that legalized multi-unit starter homes and limited the size of new single-unit homes. These changes were passed to help lower housing costs by expanding housing choices and allowing for more homes to be built - all while preserving the character of Lakewood’s neighborhoods by enabling thoughtful, sustainable development.
Join the Make Lakewood Livable team for their final push before Election Day to uphold the recent zoning code changes! YIMBY Denver will be teaming up with Livable Lakewood for a canvassing event in Lakewood. We will meet at 3:00 PM at the Ballmer Peak Distillery in Lakewood and canvass until about 5:30 PM. Afterward, we’ll head back to Ballmer Park Distillery for a happy hour to celebrate the momentum and progress Make Lakewood Liveable has built in the campaign’s final stretch.
