About this Event
How do the objects around you speak to you? Come to MoFA to co-create and celebrate Thing-Power!
Inspired by โ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฉ ๐ฌ๐ ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐ค๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ง,โ this freeform workshop invites you to take a brief tour of the exhibition and create works of art that explore our relationship with the things around us. Through a series of prompts, collaborative discussion, and artmaking, this event will inspire creative thinking, imagination, and reflection on how our human bodies relate to non-human objects.
We encourage you to bring personal items you would like to include in your work of art, or photos of things you feel connected to (we can even print an image for you).
We will offer two sessions in MoFAโs lower gallery on Thursday, April 9th, 3:00-4:30 pm and 5:30-7:00 pm.
Pre-registration is required; sign up through this event page or talk to a MoFA staff member for more information. All materials will be provided, and free parking will be available in the Call Street Garage.
