MAKE IT MAKE SENSE: THE APPOINTMENT
A hands-on curly cutting + styling class for stylists
This class is designed for stylists who want to feel more confident handling curly hair behind the chair.
We’re not just focusing on one part of the service. We’re walking through the entire appointment together, from consultation to final result, so you understand how each decision impacts the outcome.
You’ll watch it, then do it.
We’ll start with a live consultation and cutting demo, then you’ll work through the same process with your model. From there, we’ll move into washing, product application, styling, and diffusing, with guidance the entire time.
This is a hands-on class. You won’t just be watching. You’ll be actively working, asking questions, and making decisions in real time.
The goal is to help you understand what you’re doing and why, so you can take it back behind the chair and actually use it.
What we’ll cover:
- Consultation and reading the hair
- Cutting approach and decision making
- Washing and detangling techniques
- Product selection and application
- Styling techniques
- Diffusing and finishing
- Troubleshooting in real time
Class Details:
- 4-hour hands-on class (10:00 AM–2:00 PM)
- Up to 10 stylists
- $175 per stylist
Model Info:
- Bringing a live model is highly encouraged but not required
- Models should come with clean, detangled hair worn natural (from wavy to coily, all curl patterns and textures welcome)
