Nothing screams father’s day like a day in the shop. In this class each student will design and make a wooden push stick template and custom push stick of their own. The class will go over different styles and reasons for design choices for different push sticks. The participants will than make a custom template out of walnut and immediately use it to make a there first push stick out of it with popular. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
