Interested in making a one-of-a-kind box? In this class you will design a box with a lid and use the classic joinery techniques of box joints. In this class you will use the rockler box joint jig as well as table saw and many other tools in order to carefully craft and assemble a box that will be the envy of any creator. This class is a good way to get an understanding of classic joinery techniques as well as an intro to jewelry box making. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
