About this Event
An excellent foundation to majority of wood working projects can be found in learning to build a box. It’s not as complex as a cabinet, nor as intricate as jewelry box, but making a simple box will allow you to visualize how you can accomplish those more advance projects and give you the confidence to do so. Students in this class will learn about ideal wood grain to work with, how to operate power tools for milling, safe operation of the router table with different bits and jigs, and choosing an appropriate finish. This class is suited for those looking to get into wood working, especially those interested in learning more about routers, and wanting to make something they can be proud of.
