7â8 PM: prep + bundling
Weâll sort and assemble secondhand-sourced embroidery floss into rainbow setsâsimilar to the ones we offer online (12-skein ROYGBIV bundles + âRainbow PLUSâ mixes with extra yardage and color variation). Expect a mix of full skeins, partials, and project-length pieces pulled from new old stock and secondhand lots (read: a whole buncha gorgeous color!).
If you help with prep, youâre welcome to take a bundle home. And, there's no need to help with prep if you'd rather just pop in for the crafty sesh.
8â9 PM: social crafting
Stick around to stitch, mend, or experimentâbring a project or start something new. Iâll have essential sewing materials on hand, and if you've got a project or a mend in process, we'd love to see it!
Part skillshare, part creative community, this monthly series is one small piece of building a local & social, replicable, reuse-based supply chain (because the most sustainable goods possible are the ones that already exist).
