Sawyer Yards invites you to step Inside the Yards, a new event series running every Saturday in October. Each week brings a different building, a different creative experience, and a chance to connect with the artists who make our community thrive.Make and Take at Winter Street Studios is your chance to dive into creativity with workshops designed for all ages. Choose from three unique hands-on experiences: paint festive pumpkins or enjoy a bookmark and coloring sheet activity with Holly Nowak, explore the art of collage with Marie Harvey-Casamayor, or craft tie bracelets with Olga Tarasova. Each session offers the joy of making something personal and meaningful—and the best part is you get to take your creation home. During the day you can also enjoy:
Screen print your own bandana with Black Swan Screen Printing (free, available while supplies last)
Groove to a DJ set and live music by Krista Sharpe
Snap a photo in the roaming photo booth
Explore open art studios and engaging exhibitions throughout the building
Enjoy drink samples from local favorites
Inside the Yards is free to attend and great for all ages.
