Reduce the use of plastic cling wrap by using this clever, natural solution.
About this Event

Join Lucie the beekeeper from East Finchley, also known for her honey brand "Miel De Lucie" and her gorgeous jams (she is also nicknamed the Jam and Honey Lady).

We will supply all the materials required to make one beeswax wrap for you to wrap your leftovers with thus reducing your use of cling film.

We organisation will donate to Barnet's Food Bank, to thank Lucie for her work facilitating this workshop. Lucie donates all the profits from sales of her honey, jams, candles, etc to this charity!

The workshop is drop-in so feel free to come at any time between 5 and let's say 6:30. There will be a bottleneck which is ironing the wax, which takes 4 minutes per person. If this happens, we will give you a queuing number and let you know when it's your turn to iron. In the meantime you can enjoy the other activity which is mending - bring a garment or two and our team will do their fix it on the spot. Nothing too complicated please to allow as many visitors to fix their clothes.
