Workshop - make a paper pattern from a pre-loved garment with AnnaBramble&Wild, Jordans Courtyard, Horton Cross, Ilminster, TA19 9PY
Saturday 18th April, 10.30am-12.30
Everyone has that item in their wardrobe that’s seen better days but you can’t bare to part with, perhaps an old faithful gardening smock or the comfiest house trousers - spend a couple of hours at Bramble and Wild with Anna Vickery, seamstress and dressmaking tutor and make a paper pattern so you can recreate it as many times as you’d like!
Paper included, bring a pencil, paper scissors and a tape measure/ruler if you have them - this session is all about making a pattern from a garment you have loved, there’s 2 methods so you don’t necessarily need to take that garment apart, it’s best to start with something relatively simple.
*please note, in this workshop you will make a paper pattern to take home and cut in fabric/sew by hand or machine - no sewing machines are available at the workshop.
No previous pattern making experience necessary, some sewing skills needed to complete the garment at home, suitable for adults & teenagers, maximum 6 participants.
£45 per person
