Techniques in mold making, metal clay casting, wet and dry clay finishing, clay firing, gold overlay, layout and design, custom prong fabrication, multi-step soldering, stone setting, chain making and professional finishing will all be covered in this comprehensive metals workshop. Students will be able to explore creative new design possibilities and discover ways to use the combined techniques of metal clay and metal fabrication to develop their personal style and influence their current body of work.
