Make a Kumiko CoasterLearn how to create a beautiful coaster using the Japanese technique of Kumiko. This ancient screen making technique involves making intricate geometric patterns using only hand tools.
You will be provided with a Kumiko pack, and guided through all the steps involved to make your own Asa No Ha pattern coaster.
All materials, equipment and lunch will be provided. At the time of booking, please advise any dietary requirements.
For your safety please bring a dust mask and wear closed in shoes to the workshop.
Anyone aged 16 years or over is welcome. No experience necessary. Class size is limited to 8 people.
