Create a beautiful orchid centerpiece to display on a table or hang in a window plus all the care and guidance you need.
About this Event

Join shop owner Michelle Smith in this intimate and fun flower arranging class for adults inside Gather Goods Co in downtown Cary. Each participant will make an orchid kokedama. Kokedama is an ancient Japanese art form where you bind the root ball of a plant, it's a wabi sabi art form embracing a perfectly imperfect aesthetic with humble materials. This is an easy class suitable for beginners. You will get your hands wet and in soil.

Michelle will provide plants, garden supplies, tea and snacks. BYOB and your own small houseplants are encouraged! Please note that the technique and soil is different for plants other than orchids.

Unfortunately, due to the preparation time that both Gather and our instructors put into each class, cancellations and refunds cannot be made without 24 hours prior notice. Groups that of 4 or more that have registered together need 7 days cancellation notice. If you are unable to attend a class after you’ve registered a store credit will be issued.
