There’s nothing quite like a cozy meal served on pottery you made with your own hands.Join Beth on Monday, Feb. 23rd from 6:00 to 9:00 for this relaxed and beginner-friendly class when you’ll create a charming Soup & Sandwich set—a generously sized mug paired with a coordinating plate, perfect for soups, sandwiches, or your favorite comfort foods.
You’ll learn hand-building techniques to shape your mug and plate, add handles, refine edges, and personalize your set with texture, details, or simple decorative elements. Beth will talk about form, function, and balance so your pieces are not only beautiful, but practical for everyday use.
No experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and love of handmade pottery. You’ll create a one-of-a-kind set that makes even a simple lunch feel special.
All materials, tools, instruction, one glaze color selection, two kiln firings and expert instruction are included.
After class, Beth will carefully dry, kiln fire, glaze, and kiln fire your work again. Finished items will be ready for pickup about 4 weeks after class, depending on drying time and humidity. We'll notify you when it's ready!

Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
Registration allows for 1 person per class. Only those who have registered may participate.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Class starts promptly, so be sure to arrive on time.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up. We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
