Proudly brought to you by Auckland Council!Come along and build your own garden bed using reclaimed timber, ready to take home and start planting. This relaxed workshop is guided by a friendly tutor who will show you how to use power tools safely and with confidence, while sharing useful woodworking and gardening tips along the way.
We begin with a short health and safety briefing, then you’ll move into building your garden bed step by step. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with new skills and a sturdy garden bed you have made yourself, ready to fill with plants and veggies.
Covered shoes and fitted, non flowing clothing are required.
Please note that children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.
Arrival at the start of the workshop is essential so you can take part in the health and safety briefing and the full session.
Please bring a water bottle and a snack for yourself.
