Learn how to create your own beautiful Forever Fabric Lei in this hands-on workshop. These are great for graduations, parties, gifts, and more! We’ll explore fabric selection, lei-making techniques, and lei styles. You’ll create your own unique maile-style lei to keep or gift to a loved one. All materials are provided.
Your teacher is popular San Diego lei maker Sophia Thiros of Wehilani’s Lei and Adornments (previously Hula Sisters Lei Stand).
What to bring:
- Water bottle (refills provided)
- Hat
- Close-toed shoes
- Wear sunscreen
- Aloha spirit
Check-in begins 15 minutes before the event starts. Please give yourself enough time to arrive, park, and get a seat, as the event will begin promptly at the start time.
We’ll be in our open classroom in the shade. This is a rain-or-shine event.
Note: Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours in advance of the event. Eventbrite ticketing fees will be deducted (around 8%).
