Make a Face with Me
A mask-making workshop hosted by local artist, Eve Gittins.
About this Event

Learn the basics of paper mache mask making with me in this playful beginner's workshop!

To start off we will satisfy our coffee fix, then run through the overall process, in which there will be a zine with step by step guidance to help you with the simple specifics of the face we will be creating. After these explanations we will have a laid-back session of making facial features from 10:15-12. This will be followed by a 45 minute break for lunch (food can be brought from home or there is a selection of food places along Oxford Road), with the rest of the afternoon to pull everything together and create the face of your dreams (or nightmares). Refreshments can be purchased from the cafe throughout the day.

By the end of your day you'll have a decorative mask you can terrify your friends with. These will be left to fully dry in the venue and can be collected a few days after the event. At the end there will also be the most nightmarish option of all- taking part in a group photoshoot!

Any questions concerning the workshop, please email [email protected]
