L.M. Beatty, local artist, is back in our cafe for her second, beautiful art show!
The show will run from March 15 until April 19, 2025 with an Opening Reception and Artist Talk on March 15 at 2:30pm.
She will have her paintings for sale as well as postcards and prints available.
Show description from the artist-
"MAISON | JARDIN, a collection of 17 original paintings, invites viewers to engage in the concepts of ‘home’ and ‘garden’ as if they are stepping directly into a bed of fragrant & vibrant flowers or resting in a location in which they feel at peace.
Home is a complicated concept for many people, yet almost everyone can think of at least a few places in which they can find a moment of rest. Not everyone has a green thumb or an interest in cultivating the earth, but most people can appreciate how an arrangement of blooms can introduce joy and elicit a smile on even the dullest of days. When we spend time in spaces that feel like home and observe the beauty of nature, we fill our souls, which in turn, leads to growth.
Through this collection of paintings I hope that viewers are able to experience a breath of fresh air which inspires them to slow down and notice the simple beauty that exists in their own homes and gardens—both real and imaginative."
