Maikel Rafael Rico Torres known as Maisak was born on October 2 2000 in Caracas Venezuela and moved to Santa Marta at the age of two. He discovered his passion for music and songwriting at just 10 years old.
In 2023 Maisak's talent led to a creative session with Maluma where the singer expressed interest in his work and later signed him to Royalty Records. This label was created to support the growth of emerging artists from Colombia and around the world.
Maisak has contributed to major hits like Ojos Azules by Blessd featuring Peso Pluma and was part of the songwriting team for Maluma's album Don Juan.
