About this Event
Gain insight into the evolution of American architecture while experiencing the historical development of Sarasota and the buildings that make up its much-celebrated Main Street. From the Sarasota County Courthouse (1927) to the former S.H. Kress & Company Store (1932) to Sarasota Memorial Hospital / former Sarasota Herald-Tribune Offices (2006), the iconic edifices of Main Street showcase some 80 years of architectural history, design styles, and local stories.
