- Dogs are welcome (to bark at John one last time!)
- Unfortunately, no kids are permitted at the venue, but there is a lovely park down the block.
- Verdugo bar does not serve food, but we can bring in food from the outside. I will be bringing some food to share and ordering a handful of pizzas. Bringing food to share is encouraged.
- Gifts are greatly appreciated. Checks and presents are the best. Zelle ( QR code coming) or GoFundMe are also good options.

For over four decades, John has been so much more than the deliverer of our mail. For many of us, he's been a friendly and constant presence in our lives. I've known him since I was three years old in 1992, and his cheerful "what's up" and warm smile are a cherished part of my childhood.
Now that I have an infant of my own, it's hard to imagine our street without him climbing those steep slopes to greet her. Like Otto from The Simpsons, John has always brought a little bit of that "old time rock and roll" joy to our daily routine.
Let's come together to give this faithful stalwart the proper send-off he so richly deserves and PARTAY!
