Whether you're brand new to American Mahjong or ready to build a strong foundation, join The Style Collective for Mahjong Mondays at Mercerwood Shore Club — a fun, community-driven way to learn, play, and connect.
We'll be playing American Mahjong using the 2026 National Mahjong League rules, led by the fabulous Donna Holmes of The Mahjong Corner — a certified Mahjong instructor who will walk you through the game step by step in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
And because we do things properly around here — handcrafted martinis and mocktinis will be shaken to order by Hilary Crawford of Skål Cocktails, along with light snacks throughout.
Mahjong 101 | Your Starting Point
This is the first lesson in our Mahjong learning series and only needs to be taken once. After completing Mahjong 101, you'll move on to 102 and 103 — and once those are complete, you'll be ready to join our social drop-in play sessions with full confidence.
