Mahjong Learning Night — First Tuesday @United Dumplings San Francisco

United Dumplings Mahjong Nights are less about being perfect and more about showing up, pulling up a chair, and getting into it. Some tables get competitive, some are full of laughs, and some are just figuring things out tile by tile—and that’s exactly how we like it.
Never played before? Honestly, that’s the best time to come. Our learner tables come with friendly guidance from experienced teachers who’ll walk you through without making it feel like school. Already know how to play? Grab a seat at a play table and jump right in.
We’re here every Tuesday from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at 525 Cortland Avenue in San Francisco. Come a little early, order some dumplings, and ease into the night—because everything’s better once there’s food on the table.
A few quick things to know:
Spots are reserved ahead of time so we can set up your table
Table fees are just for gameplay (food + drinks are separate)
Kids under 7 join free, but team up with an adult
FREE — Play Table (for experienced players, jump right in)
$35 — Learner Table (First Tuesday each month, guided step by step)
Come solo, bring friends, or meet new ones here.
Either way, you’ll leave knowing a little more Mahjong—and probably wanting “just one more round."
