MAHJONG 101 Beginner Course with Greenwich Mahjong Club (5-Part series)

Our signature Mahjong 101 (American Mahjong) is thoughtfully curated as a 5-part series, with each class building seamlessly on the previous one to support steady learning and long-term retention.

Taught in a welcoming and supportive environment, the course balances clear instruction with guided play, allowing students to learn at a comfortable, unrushed pace. Emphasis is placed on understanding, familiarity, and enjoyment of the game, while honoring that every player learns differently.

By the end of the series, students will have been introduced to the essential elements of American Mahjong and will have become part of a growing, connected Mahjong community — one that extends beyond the classroom and continues at the table.

This is a 5-part series meeting on the following dates:

• Tuesday, March 3

• Tuesday, March 10

• Tuesday, March 17

• Tuesday, March 24

• Tuesday, March 31

Registration is handled directly through Greenwich Mahjong Club to ensure accurate enrollment and class size. Registration includes all five sessions. Attendance at each class is strongly encouraged, as each session builds on the previous one.
