MAGICAL MAJESTY are proud to be putting on this impromptu EP LAUNCH show celebrating the label's first EP release: Solo Project - Live From The Living Room. LIVE FROM THE LIVING ROOM EP is a cosy, meditative & emotive folk recording of a man singing to a crowd of zero. With this live show, the living room is TRANSPORTED onto the FOLKLORE ROOMS stage. Expect a singer-songwriter at the top of their game, singing simple little songs and telling silly, stupid jokes.
LINE UP
SOLO PROJECT - also known as the patron saint of fools. Brighton-based bedroom-art freak folk(?) singer-songwriter of snapshot diaristic fragments brimmed with searching, longing and humour. Spending his teenage years crafting countless lo-fi albums, solo project can now be found doing pretty much the same. On stage, solo project is known for his love of aimless stupid jokes counteracted by his simple honest slightly sad songs.
Rosie Robinson - A multi-disciplinary artist who has shed a light on so many local musicians over the years. Always innovating and reinventing, Rosie (when performing solo) is currently crafting unique live sets blending vocals, guitars and loops to create something magical.
Gabrielle Scobie - Singing since she was born but then classically trained in opera and musical theatre. Gabrielle Scobie began writing songs when she was 13, simply as a way to get her thoughts out. Her biggest inspirations are Boygenius, Fleetwood Mac, Samia and of course, Taylor Swift.
Tickets are available on the door via CASH or CONTACTLESS. Pre-booking is however preferred. We also recommend buying the FOLKLORE ROOMS IPA as this helps fund the beautiful venue with every pint purchased.
Copies of the LIVE FROM THE LIVING ROOM EP cassette tape will also be available at the merch table, alongside very small quantities of t-shirts and totes.
