Chaospace 2025 Special Edition, in collaboration with Ensemble Apply Triangle
Apply Triangle is a New York–based electroacoustic trio exploring live electronics, multimedia, and socially engaged themes. The group has performed internationally at the SinusTon Festival, NYU’s Pulsing and Shaking Macro Festival, the Manhattan School of Music, and the University of Pennsylvania, and has held residencies at Bowling Green State University and the University of Florida. Their first Call for Scores project produced Oxalis Triangularis, a three-album set of 33 works released on cmntx records, praised by I Care If You Listen and Neon Music UK. A recipient of Chamber Music America’s Ensemble Forward Grant, Apply Triangle continues to explore new directions in electroacoustic chamber music.
This concert features Jixue Yang (keyboard), Yoshi Weinberg (flute), and David Nagy (bassoon) performing six works. The program includes three new compositions by the winners of the Chaospace 2025 Special Edition Open Call and two by guest composers, highlighting diverse voices and approaches within the field of contemporary electroacoustic performance.
