Prerelease is your players’ first opportunity to get their hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer. Prerelease Packs contain everything a player needs to build a deck and begin facing off in epic one-on-one matches.

The Format: Sealed Deck
Sealed Deck is perfect for new and returning players alike. It levels the playing field, exposes you to a variety of new cards, and helps you start building your collection for future events.
Deck Building: Build a minimum 40-card deck using only the cards from your Prerelease Kit and basic lands (provided).
Sideboard: All remaining cards from your kit act as your sideboard.
Matches: Best-of-3 games.
Rounds: 50-minute Swiss rounds (no elimination).
