You may even encounter a certain Ring and riddle with Golem over one of the summer’s biggest gaming weekends! Prerelease is the #1 way to join the worlds of JRR Tolkien & Magic: the Gatheirng. You’ll meet hundreds of other gaming and LOTR fans while playing The Hobbit cards for the very first time. Plus you’ll only face off against menaces of equal power because all you can use is your Prerelease Kit & your wits. We’ve got 2 great ways to play:
*Single Player:
It’s you and your cards starting your journey out of the Shire. Use the contents of 6 The Hobbit Play Booster Packs to build a 40 card deck full of all the magical beings, spells, and locations of Middle Earth and face other adventurers venturing out.
*2-Headed Giant:
This event may sound like one of the threats looming in the shadows of your travels, but in reality it puts you and a partner together. Find another Hobbit, pack 11sies, and share your cards together against other teams.
