About this Event
Class Description:
In this hands-on, play dough–themed workshop, kids will become little makers as they mix, color, and customize their very own batch of magical play dough from start to finish.
Participants will learn the basics of how play dough is made, explore color mixing, textures, and scents, and then bring their creation to life with fun add-ins and imaginative play prompts.
Each child will leave with a sealed jar of their custom play dough and fun trinkets to take home—perfect for continued sensory play, creativity, and storytelling long after the class ends.
About the Instructor:
Meg started Magic Moments by Meg initially as a creative outlet from Meg's full-time job as a gender equity and social inclusion specialist in the international development world and as a way to provide magical and screen-free independent play opportunities for her daughter. She creates unique potion kits, play dough kits, and sensory kits for kids of all ages.
With a background in disability inclusion, and as a neurodivergent individual herself, Meg thoughtfully designs her products and experiences to be inclusive and accessible for all children (and adults, too!), creating play that promotes regulation and celebrates imagination, connection, and joy.
