Morning Yoga at Magic IslandStart your Tuesdays with movement, breath, and fresh air at Morning Yoga on Magic Island, a free outdoor class along the Kanawha River in Charleston.
Now in its 18th year, this welcoming community class is led by instructor Debora Mattingly, PT, RYT, and accompanied by Paula Bickham. The class invites residents and visitors of all ages and skill levels to enjoy a refreshing morning yoga practice in a beautiful riverside setting.
WHEN: Tuesdays, 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
JUNE – JULY (weather permitting)
WHERE: Magic Island, 101 Kanawha Blvd.
This class is completely FREE and open to all ages and experience levels.
Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing. It is recommended that participants bring a tarp or beach towel to lay under their mat because of the morning dew. Come as you are and enjoy a peaceful start to your day with community, movement, and nature.
