Sky Studio is celebrating 10+ years, and we are bringing our favorite professional dancers back for a celebration!
Let's get that magic brewing at The Magic City Bellydance Festival hosted by Sky Studio Bellydance!
This three-day festival features the sparkle of bellydance pros, Amy Sigil and Dahlia Moon. From learning how to perform with swords, perfecting technique and dancing your heart out, to full on Improv Team Sync ability, these dazzling women will provide something for everyone in our amazing community.
Amy Sigil
Amy Sigil is an international instructor in dance and team building, director of UNMATA, owner of Sigil School, and the creator of Improv Team Sync. She has been studying dance for over 25 years with training in Bellydance, American Tribal Style, Hula, Tahitian, Studio Hip Hop, Volleyball, Basketball and Track.
Dahlia Moon
Dahlia is a dancer "for life." A 31-year veteran of Egyptian and Lebanese styles of belly dance, this 2007 “Belly Dancer of the Universe” is also certified to teach Amy Sigil's ITS (Improvisational Team Sync) format Levels 1-4.
Workshops and performances
The gala showcase the will be Friday evening at Club Lux. Performance opportunities are available – keep an eye out for a chance to perform your best work!
Workshops will begin Saturday May 2nd at Sky Studio. These workshops will welcome dancers to learn and grow their skills in the Bellydance genre. Saturday morning kicks off an all-day workshop extravaganza with Amy and Dahlia at Sky Studio. Lunch options will be available.
Sunday, we wrap it all up with a Dance Church workshop filled with fun and sweat, and then we will end the festivities with a fare-thee-well luncheon.
This weekend will be full of friendship, knowledge, and extraordinary sparkle – because of you!
