About this Event
This year Maggie's has been at the forefront of cancer care here in the East Midlands for the last 15 years thanks to the kindness of our supporters. Each milestone is special but this year we mark 30 years of Maggie's providing free expert cancer support across the UK.
Our Centre Fundraising Manager, Liz Sudbury will be sharing plans for this special year and our ambitions for the future to support more people with cancer and the people who love them.
Maggie's Business Champions is a network of local East Midlands businesses who support Maggie's through fundraising, networking, and partnerships. We meet a few times of year for networking at the centre and in other locations around the region.
Please join us to meet with like-minded business contacts and friends of Maggie’s.
Tickets are FREE for our members and just £10 if you are a guest. There will be drinks and nibbles on arrival and an opportunity to look round the centre if you haven’t been before.
How your support helps
If you would like to make a regular dontion to help us continue offering free, expert support for people facing cancer today, tomorrow and always join our Business Champions today. We have three levels of membership so businesses of all sizes can get involved. Many local businesses are helping us transform cancer care locally for thousands of people through their support. The money we raise is used to make the biggest possible difference to people living with cancer who walk through our doors each day.
Gold Members – Give £100 a month/ £1,200 a year
• £100 could pay for a support group for people with cancer to meet others.
Silver Members - Give £50 a month/ £600 a year
• £50 could help someone get financial advice from a Benefits Advisor.
Bronze Members - Give £30 a month/ £360 a year
• £30 could pay for a session with a psychologist to reduce someone’ anxiety.
