DISCUSSION and reading - Maga/ Zineswith - avec Iva Čelebić, Catherine Machado, Emma Cosgrove, Jonas Fortier & Shawn Cotton
As part of the Blue Metropolis Festival, Expozine brings together members of two Montrel small press poetry collectives.
Working in their respective languages, the independent magazines Tantôt and RODAISUN have created vibrant spaces for new voices and poetic experimentation. The five poet-editors of the two magazines will discuss collective publishing, their editorial and graphic influences, and the challenges of producing small-press, self-published magazines that often blur boundaries with zines.
The event concludes with bilingual readings; discussion in French and English.

Tantôt: semestriel fondé par les poètes Shawn Cotton, Jonas Fortier et l'éditeurice Hermine Ortega à Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. Paraît depuis l'automne 2021 à l'enseigne de L’Oie de Cravan. Accueille plusieurs langues, traductions, villes, territoires. Animé par un souci de mutualité entre poétique et politique, n’amputant jamais l’un à la faveur de l’autre - souci continuel destiné à faire une revue ambidextre qui ait deux mains : tantôt et maintenant !

RODAISUN is a literary performance group and monthly triadic print publication formed by multidisciplinary artists Iva Čelebić, Catherine Machado, and Emma Cosgrove. Since July 2021, RODAISUN has released a new print publication every month, now with over 55 issues and more than 1,000 poems exploring themes of memory, ecology, time, the body, loss, and absurdity. RODAISUN organizes readings and hosts workshop events such as the Writer’s Block series, a recurring creative gathering that combines writing with live improvised jazz.
