About MaddieKakes Bake Shop
Owned by Maddie Haydon, MaddieKakes Bake Shop is an at-home bakery in Stevensville, MI. It all began when she decorated a set of Betty Crocker sugar cookies for her best friend's bachelorette party, which led to selling custom cookies, which led to teaching decorating classes! She teaches these classes monthly in St. Joe and often in Kalamazoo.
Maddie's classes cater to the beginner to advanced cookier or people just looking to have fun learning a new skill. Whether you just want a fun date, a girls-or-guys-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own - there's a seat for you.
Can't wait to see you in class!
DIY / Add-On Kits
Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend, or try it again on your own! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class. Cookie Class DIY Kits are prepared before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.
How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.
Allergen Disclaimer
Allergens: Heads up – these cookies include the following allergens: wheat/gluten, egg, dairy (butter)
Please note – these cookies are prepared in a kitchen that also bakes with common, known allergens: soy, nut, fish, shellfish, gluten, dairy
Please consider your allergies before registering.
Parking
Street parking is available along the Kalamazoo Mall, but only for 90 minutes at a time. You may park along E South St for longer periods of time, and there is also a parking garage just around the corner on E South St (that's where I usually park!). Arrive early so you can find parking and be on time for class!
