Madam Walker Legacy Center's Legacy Fest BLOCK PARTY

Join us for the Madam Walker Legacy Center’s 4th Annual Legacy Fest, our signature fundraiser, taking place June 19–20, 2026. This two-day celebration honors the legacy of Madam C.J. Walker, the historic Madam Walker Building, and the month of June, nationally recognized as Black Music Month.

Legacy Fest kicks off Friday, June 19 with The Legacy Concert featuring Teddy Riley & Friends, an unforgettable evening celebrating Black musical excellence. (Tickets can be purchased HERE)

The celebration continues Saturday, June 20 with a FREE community block party on Indiana Avenue from 12pm–8pm, featuring live musical performances, food trucks, local vendors, and family-friendly activities.

While Saturday’s block party is free to attend, Legacy Fest is the Madam Walker Legacy Center’s signature fundraiser, and guests can support the Center’s mission by making a donation when registering through Eventbrite.
