About this Event

I am proud to introduce to you — The Mad Girls Club

Your rage is not a threat.

Your rage is not wrong.

Your rage is a sacred part of your healing — a deeply human, deeply feminine force.

It is the pulse of your intuition, the boundary you were never allowed to set, the truth you were taught to hide.

It is time to call forth our inner Kali.

To let Medusa breathe again.

To remember the strength of Durga rising in our bones.

For generations, women have been trained to be pleasant, quiet, agreeable — to silence the emotions that make others uncomfortable. But this pressure to stay small is woven into the fabric of generational trauma. It is tied to systems that police our bodies & futures. It is bound up in racism, in the way Black women are labeled “angry” simply for being honest, expressive, or human.

So we gather.

We gather to rage in the ways our mothers & grandmothers could not.

To reclaim what was taken.

To feel what was forbidden.

Because when we refuse to meet this part of ourselves, it follows us into places it does not belong — our relationships, our work, our dreams.

We are divine.

We are soft.

We are powerful.

We are sacred.

& we are ANGRY.

This class comes from the deepest part of my story.

I’ve been building, re-shaping, & living this practice for 6 years. I always sensed anger in me, but I muted it, swallowed it, kept myself small. Until I became pregnant — & postpartum depression & rage cracked everything open. I could no longer deny what was there. It spilled into my family, my friendships, my work. I was pushing people away, & I knew something had to change. I had to learn to let my anger & my softness coexist — not as opposites, but as power.

I don’t want you to feel alone the way I did. What you’re experiencing is real, & in this political moment, it is more vital than ever to reclaim it.

This offering is a core part of my yoga therapy work — but I want it to be affordable. I want it to feel like community. Because so many of us are carrying this same fire, this same ache, this same truth.
