Macramé is the beautiful art of knotting cords into intricate patterns to create stunning decorative pieces. In this hands-on workshop, you will be welcomed into the artist’s cozy residence to connect and create in a warm, inviting setting.
Your instructor, Danae, will guide you through fundamental macramé knots and design techniques, helping you craft a beautiful and functional mini plant hanger to elevate your space. With a variety of cord colors available to suit your personal style, there is plenty of room for personal expression and unique design variations.
Who is this for: This workshop is recommended for ages 12 and up, and no prior experience is needed—just a desire to learn and have fun! Whether you are looking to decorate your home, craft a thoughtful gift, or explore a new creative hobby, it is a wonderful chance to enjoy a relaxing experience while connecting with fellow makers and bringing a piece of handmade art to life.
The workshop takes place at Danae’s private home studio in Hidden Valley, NW Calgary. The exact address will be provided to registrants upon confirmation of your booking.
