Obituary for Mackay Leslie Victoria Potter
May 10, 1971 – October 4, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mackay Leslie Victoria Potter, who left this world on October 4, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on May 10, 1971, Mackay was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was filled with love, joy, and the unwavering devotion she gave to her family.
Mackay is survived by her husband, Robert Potter; her son, Aidan Potter; her daughter-in-law, Britlee Potter; and her precious granddaughter, Mavis Potter, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her daughter, Emmaly Potter, whom she loved dearly. Mackay shared an unbreakable bond with her family, always offering love and support in every way possible.
Mackay is also survived by her sisters, Tracey Degenstein and Melina Smith, all of whom stood by her side throughout her life. She is also survived by her brother, Abraham. She was predeceased by her parents, Delbert Woolhether and Mavis Woolhether, and her brothers, Delbert, Brett, Cody, Wesley, and Yancey, all of whom she held close in her heart even in their absence.
Known for her kind heart and generous spirit, Mackay was the type of person who never hesitated to lend a hand or offer a comforting word. She touched the lives of so many with her warmth and compassion. She was a source of strength and joy to her family and friends, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will be dearly missed by all. May her legacy of love and compassion continue to inspire us. Rest in peace, Mackay Leslie Victoria Potter. You will always be remembered with love and gratitude.
A celebration of Mackay’s life will be held on November 16th, 2024, between 3pm and 9pm at Murrayville Hall, 21667 48th Ave, where her loved ones will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
