This workshop is designed to help you break that sewing machine out of your closet and get it moving again! If you've never taken a group sewing class, you probably don't understand the fun it is to create something with the support of the group. Sometimes it's not about the finished project-it's about the experience. Because it is fun to make cool shit, but it's GREAT to make cool shit with cool people.Supplies provided: Workspace, cutting mat, fabric and notions for each project.
Supplies needed: working sewing machine with straight stitch, thread, snips.
Skill level: Confident beginner and up: (you have a sewing machine and know how to thread it and make a straight seam.)
It is very important that you come to class with a working machine that you are CONFIDENT operating. If you need help getting to know your machine, you can book a private session with Vod to help you!
Appropriate for ages 16 and up (with an accompanying adult)
