Stone Ridge Upper School presents William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Driven by prophecy and ruthless ambition, Scottish Lord Macbeth and his merciless wife plunge themselves into a spiral of guilt, madness, and bloodshed on their quest to seize the throne. Consumed by paranoia and guilt, the pair descend into a tyrannical reign of terror while facing betrayal and a battle to restore rightful rule to the kingdom. Featuring witches, ghosts, and horror, this production is appropriate for ages 13 and up.Performances are on Thursday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cokie Boggs Roberts ’60 theater.
