The Macademy Awards is the annual showcase of filmmaking at Macleans College.The Macademy Awards will take place in the Colin Prentice Auditorium on Thursday 24 October at 7.00 pm.

Nineteen student short films will be screened and Macademy Awards for best film, director, script, performance, cinematography, editing/sound presented.
These awards are being determined by artists from the New Zealand film/TV industry with an Audience Choice Award voted for and awarded on the night, supported by Vish Arora from Ray White Howick.
Some films contain violence and content that may not be suitable for children below the age of Macleans College students. Parental discretion is advised.
